Forgive Us our Trespasses.

On the evening of 21 November 1974, the Provisional Irish Republic of Army carried out a terrorist attack in Birmingham (UK). It was recognised as the bloodiest attack in the Troubles England. This short film tells the “behind the scenes” of this attack, which hides a series of mistakes, delays and frictions within the same terrorist cell responsible for it.

Director.

Lorenzo Maria Chierici was born in Milan, in 1997. In 2018 he wrote and directed Eve, which was officially selected at several international festivals (RIFF, Madrid International Film Festival, Olbia Film Festival, Figari Film Festival). The good results of Eve, allowed him to direct his second short film, produced by Rai Cinema: Nelle tue Mani (In Your Hands, 2020), available on the Rai Cinema Channel. Also this short was selected at many international festivals (Leeds IFF; Madrid IFF; Queerbee LGBT film festival, Toronto Film Channel among others). In 2022, he directed and produced his third short: Forgive Us our Trespasses. Lorenzo is currently working on his first feature film: Figli Perduti (Lost Sons).
