Starring Naomie Vogt-Roby, Maxime Bachellerie and Sessouma Sobere, we are in Summertime: two teenagers have their first date in a park.  Both nervous and shy at the beginning, they soon discover a strong attraction to each other; they get closer while wandering in the park and end up falling in love. But the night is coming, so it’s time to leave…

After being a dancer, Damien Manivel studied film at Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains. He has made several short films, including Viril (2007), Soit sage ô ma douleur (2008), La Dame au chien (2010) which won the Prix Jean Vigo and Un Dimanche matin, which received the Prix Découverte of the Semaine de la Critique at Cannes in 2012. Un Jeune poète (A Young Poet), his first feature film, has been awarded by the Special Mention in Locarno Film Festival. The Park is his second feature lengh.
